What is Reiki Energy Healing?

Reiki originated in Japan as a healing art and has been carried for many years across geographical barriers, through times of peace and war and can be found practiced among people in many different spiritual traditions. The word broken down is Rei (Universal Life) and Ki (Energy).

It is Universal Life Energy. It is not affiliated with any particular practice or belief, making it accessible to all. Reiki is the life force that flows through all things and can be accessed by practitioners to facilitate relaxation, stress relief and healing on all levels. It can assist in the removal of blockages on all levels and can be a benefit to all.

5 is a number that represents action and struggle, mostly with one’s self, faith, and environment. Largely intellectual in nature, it is an inner conflict to sort out one’s own internal being versus the events and circumstances of one’s external environment. “Know thyself, and thou shalt know the universe and God.” (Temple of Apollo at Delphi)

3 is a number of expression & initiation, equilibrium, collaboration, affirmation, creation, & potential, as well as spirit, soul, & body expressed as thought, desire & action. Heaven, Earth, & Hell…Father, Son, & Holy Spirit…. Human consciousness rising out of the limitations of matter to unite with Source. The Divine Trinity enters into matter (flesh & blood) in order to transform the matter into something more divine.

14 is a number that signifies temperance, alchemy, balance, healing, self-discipline to make necessary changes, overcoming temptation and self-indulgence, wrestling out your salvation, and ascent from the bondage of matter & materialism…

7 is a number of completions and movement, and sometimes perfection. It expresses the interconnectivity of God in man. It is the perfect union of Spirit and matter, the divine masculine and divine feminine, or the material realms and the divine realms. The year 2023 promises to be a year full of excitement and intense challenges. It holds the potential for significant breakthroughs & liberation, or devastating failures & oppression. The determining factor will be the ability of the people to wake up to the awareness of their own divinity and power and to the importance of their connectedness to the world around them.
